I’m learning to stop obsessing over the scale. I used to weigh myself every morning and it would determine my mood that day. Not too long ago I stepped on the scale and I was NOT happy. It showed that I had gained weight. For all I know it could have been muscle mass but the insecure girl in me was positive it was fat. My whole day had been ruined and I felt like I let myself down..but then I realized how silly it was to let the scale determine how I feel about myself. If I look in the mirror and feel confident about how I look, there is no reason care about a stupid number? I’m sure many of you have felt the same thing before. Getting bored of eating plain chicken breast? Try cutting it up and putting it into a salad! In this salad we have mixed greens, cucumbers, heart of palms and some almonds/cashews. So freshπŸ‘Œ Avocado on Ezekiel bread and 1 egg 2 egg white with garlic and pepper spice. I had this after my fasted cardio this morning. I did 20 minutes on the stair master, 10 minutes on elliptical and 10 minutes on the treadmill at a growing incline! I’ll be going back to the gym later today to lift some weights! Today is my last day of university! Skip the treadmill for once and try some plyometrics! (Plyometrics are exercises based around having muscles exert maximum force in as short time as possible) They are amazingggg for weight loss and getting rid of the stubborn fat because of how much energy the exercises require. It may not seem like much but you will be dead after 3 sets! I have found that the more plyo days I add to my routine, the more I notice results. They are also great if you are plateauing and need to change up your routine. πŸ‘ŠπŸ’•πŸ˜˜ (please do these at your own pace and adjust the reps accordingly!) #inspiredtobefit #itbf #plyometric #burpeeskilledme
