I decided to make a new edit of this picture because I had many people accusing that “it’s not the same person” because I had cropped my face out and because of my breast size…has anyone ever heard of a push up bathing suit? πŸ™Œ I actually take it as a compliment because it proves my point that it is possible to grow booty. A year and a half ago I had lost the majority of my weight with lots of cardio and plyometric workouts. I wasn’t doing any squats, clearly. Once I lost the weight I started to focus purely on weight training. I lifted weights 3-4 times a week, using one of the days to focus only on legs and glutes. The exercise I feel has helped the most is a heavy wide stance squat, toes pointing out, with a small plate under my heels. This activates the hamstrings and glutes even more. I would do 3 sets of 10 reps with little break between (using a 40 lb dumbbell, but please use a light weight to start and slowly increase). This squat has to be done super slow. A single squat should last 8 seconds: 4 seconds down, 4 seconds up. Really squeeze on your way up. Every 2 weeks increase the weight by 5-10 lbs. This is just one exercise that I did to help me grow my booty but make sure to incorporate squat jumps, lunges, step ups, leg extensions, hamstring curls, hip thrusters and more. I will try my hardest to get you guys some video demonstrations! πŸ™ŒπŸ’• If I can do it, you most definitely can too. Here is one my the best recipes I have discovered over my year of healthy eating πŸ™Œ Homemade Healthy Chicken Nuggets & Sweet Potato Fries!! 😍 Best thing about it, is that its totally allowed for the #ITBFLeanChallenge, so go crazy! 
But seriously, who needs the processed and fried chicken nuggets at McDonalds when you can make your own healthy version!? πŸŸπŸ— RecipeπŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
- 2 slices Ezekiel bread (toasted twice)
- 2 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- dash of salt
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast (vegan/dairy free alternative to cheese that is high in protein!) Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F
1. Blend ingredients in processor
2. Coat chicken in egg whites
3. Roll chicken in breadcrumbs
4. Cook at 375F till cooked! (Longer to get them crispy)
The sweet potato fries were washed, peeled, cut and tossed in a bag with Cajun, pepper and olive oil. Cook at 375F till soft! Enjoy πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜˜ #inspiredtobefit #chickennuggets #itbf  (at itbfshop.com)

I was never over-weight but I treated my body like a waste basket. I would stuff my face with fast fried food, ice cream, chips and double desserts without even thinking about what I was doing to myself. My actions definitely reflected on the scale and on my clothes. Not only was I gaining weight, I had zero energy. I would pant walking up a flight of stairs! I also had constant stomach aches with lots of discomforts. I woke up one day, hated the way that I felt physically as well as what I saw in the mirror and that’s when I said enough is enough 😀 It’s time to start treating my body the way it deserved…and when I did, (with lots and lots of hard work) it rewarded me with amazing results.
